On July 24, 2025, the final meeting of the SciEntBG Hub, part of the ERA Talent initiative and EURAXESS network, brought together researchers, entrepreneurs, and academic leaders to review key achievements and discuss the future of scientific entrepreneurship in Bulgaria.
The SciEntBG Hub, coordinated by the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia, has served as a regional platform supporting the career development of researchers interested in innovation, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship. Over the past year, the Hub delivered a range of activities, including specialized training courses, webinars, the Business Café series, and a pilot mentoring program based on the ReBeCA model.
Notably, the project fostered interdisciplinary and cross-sector collaboration, offered EURAXESS networking opportunities, and promoted open access to practical resources for researchers. The closing event highlighted the strong engagement of early-career researchers, doctoral students, and business representatives. The SciEntBG Hub will continue its mission beyond the project’s formal conclusion, supporting the Bulgarian research and innovation ecosystem as part of the broader EURAXESS networks and ERA Talent platform initiatives.
