The Scientific Entrepreneurship Hub of Bulgaria (SciEntBG) organized the EURAXESS Network Members Meeting on February 27, 2025, bringing together participants from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Switzerland, Moldova, and Serbia to exchange insights and strengthen cross-border collaboration within the ERA Talent project.
The project lead, Prof. Dr. Dmytro Zherlitsyn, reviewed SciEntBG’s progress in fostering science-driven entrepreneurship, highlighting:
- Researcher training on transforming scientific research into business ventures
- Engagement in international conferences to promote innovation and collaboration
- A new strategic partnership with a business enterprise in the Burgas region
International partners shared upcoming initiatives, including a startup pivoting webinar in Cyprus, a study visit in Basel focused on biotech and medtech entrepreneurship, and efforts to enhance mentoring programs and social media engagement.

- Expanding networking via LinkedIn and national portals
- Strengthening international partnerships for research-based startups
- Finalizing plans for joint activities and study visits
