Specific regimes of ownership or utilization of intellectual products

The ownership upon an intellectual product logically originates for the person, who has created it usually or jointly for its creators, if they have worked in a team, no matter how it happens. The owners respectively take the decisions, connected with the way of its utilization, including the opportunity for its use from third parties too. This rule has been valid since the very creation of the intellectual property system till now.

With the evolution of practice, however, the necessity of foreseeing and regulation of some specific opportunities for intellectual product ownership origination or utilization has been constantly recognized in order to have the interests of broader range of parties protected and the interests of the society respectively too. The different legislations address this issue in a different way according to the necessary national policy and the public interest of the country.
