Accommodation

Depending on the length of stay in Bulgaria, foreign citizens can choose the most suitable accommodation for them - to rent an apartment or house to rent rooms in an aparthotel or stay in a hotel.

Agencies renting act on behalf of the owner. They show their homes and pay a fee only when the relevant rent apartment. It is important to know that you never have to pay a fee to the agency before signing the contract for rental of housing. Agency fees are normally equivalent to one month`s rent and pay once.

Most universities and higher schools in Bulgaria have their own student dormitories used to supply temporary housing for students and post-graduate. Accordingly, the Ordinance of the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) for higher education facilities and Sciences adopted its own rules for the use and management of student hostels. Provision of places in halls of residence is in most cases after application to the Committee on social and domestic issues relevant to higher education.
